VIDEO: A Pemex pipe explodes after being hit by a train
A Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex) pipeline was hit on Thursday afternoon by a freight train in the state of Aguascalientes (north-central Mexico), causing a strong fire.
The events were recorded at the height of the second Aguascalientes ring road, in the Mexico neighborhood. So far, the number of victims of the accident is unknown.
Civil Protection, Municipal Police, Red Cross, Fire Department and Army elements arrived at the scene.
The accident was recorded by passers-by and motorists who circulated through the site.
