The Government of Uganda has introduced measures to contain the Ebola outbreak, including a lockdown for 21 days in the affected areas, night curfews and travel restrictions , local media report.
In his address to the nation this Saturday, the country’s president, Yoweri Museveni, announced that travel to and from the Mubende and Kassanda districts is suspended .
It was also decided to close the places of worship and entertainment between the 19: 00 and 6 o’clock: 00 hours.
According to the latest official figures, 19 people have died since the country confirmed the Ebola outbreak on 20 September, collects Reuters.
