The stranger, who dressed similarly to the members of the president’s security ring, was intercepted during a checkpoint in the vicinity of the General Directorate of the National Police, in the Teusaquillo sector.
After claiming to be a member of Petro’s escort, agents verified his identity and discovered that he was not part of the police institution or the team he was talking about. He was arrested under the accusations of supplanting authority and falsifying a public document.
