More than 156 million people were called to vote in these elections.
The first results after the closing of the polling stations give former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva the 30,36 % of the votes, compared to 56,64 % of the current president, Jair Bolsonaro, with 1,83 % of the ballot boxes counted.
More than 156 million people were called to vote in these elections, the most polarized in the history of the country , with two antagonistic proposals.
The campaign has been one of the most violent in recent memory in Brazil. This Sunday, voters have also voted to elect the governor of Sao Paulo and other 11 states that did not resolve the result in first round.
More information, shortly.
