The NBA legend made the announcement of his donation in an interview this Tuesday for SiriusXM. “My next ‘show’ is in Buffalo, and I’m going to donate my profits to some of family members who had a tragic loss,” he said.

Before the concert, the former player met the widow and son of Aaron Salter Jr., a retired police officer, who died while trying to stop the shooter on the day of the shooting .

Meanwhile, the US Department of Justice filed June 15 federal hate crime charges against 18-year-old Payton Gendron, who is listed as the alleged perpetrator of the attack.
