In statements to The New York Post, the artist’s lawyer, Marty Singer, described these complaints as “disgusting”. a domestic violence restraining order against the Latin pop icon. Later, Eric Martin, the singer’s brother, pointed out that the victim was his 21-year-old nephew.
Marty Singer has now stated that “unfortunately, the person who made this statement is fighting with profound mental health problems. “Ricky Martin, of course, has never been, and would never have been, involved in any type of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew,” he noted.
The star reportedly could face more than five decades in prison if the charges of incest, stalking and domestic violence with which he is accused are proven.
