Former Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu opposes the idea of Israel supplying weapons to Ukraine, arguing that the arsenal could fall into the hands of Iran. This was stated this Tuesday during an interview with the MSNBC channel.
“There is always the possibility, and this has happened time and time again, that the weapons we supply in a field end up in Iranian hands and be used against us in the Golan Heights,” the opposition leader assured.
At the same time, Netanyahu described the current policy of Israel regarding the conflict in Ukraine, highlighting the role of his country in accepting Ukrainian refugees and providing humanitarian aid.
