The executive director of SpaceX, Elon Musk, affirmed this Thursday that his company has more active satellites in orbit than the rest of the companies or nations that operate this class of devices.
“SpaceX has more active satellites in orbit than the rest of the Earth put together and plans to double that number soon,” wrote the world’s richest man on Twitter, in response to an article on the Teslarati portal about the 30.th satellite launch of the Starlink Internet service this year.
This day the Falcon 9 rocket will put 54 satellites into orbit from the Cape Canaveral launch pad in Florida (USA.).
At the beginning of the month, SpaceX successfully fulfilled its mission 64 of the Starlink project with the launch of 52 devices.
