The former attorney general of the Republic of Mexico, Jesús Murillo Karam, temporarily left prison, was admitted this Thursday and will undergo treatment for a heart condition at the Hospital Institute of Cardiology, located in the capital.

Murillo Karam has had to leave the North Prison on several occasions, where he is prisoner, accused of forced disappearance, torture and failure to administer justice, to receive medical attention.
