The visit of the three European leaders has taken weeks to organize, as who seek to dodge criticism in Ukraine for their response to the conflict in the country.
The French President, Emmanuel Macron; German Chancellor Olaf Scholz; and the Italian Prime Minister, Mario Draghi, arrived this Thursday morning in kyiv, where they plan to meet with the Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky.
Upon arrival on a train to the Ukrainian capital, Macron pointed out to the journalists that the delegation will carry out “the planned talks”. “This is an important moment. message of support for Ukrainians to talk about the present and the future,” he added.
