The Iranian Foreign Ministry on Friday urged its citizens to leave Ukraine due to the “escalation of military conflicts and the increase in insecurity”. Likewise, he “strongly” advised to refrain from traveling to the European country.

“All Iranian citizens living in Ukraine are recommended to leave this country to save their lives and safety” , communicated the Consular General Department of the institution.

During the last weeks, the diplomatic missions of several countries made similar recommendations for security reasons. The US Embassy in kyiv urged its citizens to seek refuge where they are and then leave Ukraine by land without delay, “when it is safe” to do so. For its part, China advised its citizens to leave the country due to the serious insecurity situation.
