The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stated during the telephone conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Vladimir Zelensky, that the option of a diplomatic solution to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine must be maintained in all circumstances.

Likewise, Erdogan assured that Ankara is ready to contribute as necessary to end hostilities between the two countries through negotiations, according to local media.
