The Emergency Operations Committee (COE) of Ecuador decided to lift, as of 20 October, the guidelines of entry into the country that were implemented almost 3 years ago due to the covid pandemic-18.
In a statement, the Ministry of Tourism maintains that the presentation of the vaccination certificate, “as well as the PCR or antigen test are no longer mandatory for travelers who arrive at our destination from abroad, either by air or by land border crossings”.
Attention📌 The National COE resolved to eliminate the guidelines for entering the country. As of October 20 it will not be mandatory to present the vaccination card, or COVID-proof 19, to enter mainland Ecuador and the Galapagos. The details➡️https://t.co/k3j6XA6jA5pic.twitter.com/QmuBYLS7oJ
