Cuba denounces record losses due to the US blockade.

Likewise, Rodríguez indicated that during the 14 first months of the government of Joe Biden in the US, which began in January 2021, the damage caused by the blockade amounts to 6.364 million dollars, which is also classified as a “historical record “.

“This means more than 454 million dollars per month or more than 15 millions of dollars a day in damages and losses,” he emphasized.

The chancellor also updated the number of losses caused by the blockade in the six decades of its application. “At current prices, accumulated damages add up to 154.217 million dollars“, he specified.
