At least 11 People, including two policemen, have died in a stampede during a concert that was held this Saturday in a stadium in Kinsasa, the capital of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as confirmed by the country’s deputy prime minister, Daniel Asselo Okito Wankoy.
“According to our information, what happened is the fault of the organizers . The Police, the stadium administration and the organizers had agreed on a certain percentage of people who should have access to the venue, but the organizers went beyond the 30%. People suffocated to death,” the senior official said Sunday, quoted by local media.
