British actor Henry Cavill will stop playing Geralt of Rivia in the Netflix series ‘The Witcher’ after its fourth season. The witcher, the central character in the television production based on the heroic fantasy books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski, will be played by Australian Liam Hemsworth.
“As happens with the greatest literary characters, I pass the torch with reverence for my time as Geralt and with excitement to see Liam’s take on this nuanced and fascinating man,” Cavill wrote on social media this weekend.
